MYTHS SURROUNDING BREAST CANCER ARE A MAJOR THREAT TO TREATMENT.

The Cape Coast Teaching Hospital in collaboration with Roche Ghana and other partners has subsidized mammogram services in the health facility by up to 50%. Ultrasound to detect breast cancer would also be free this October and medications would be covered by the National Health Insurance Scheme.

Dr. Ngedu, the Chief Executive Officer stated that these were some measures put in place to curb the disease.
